How can we help you?
Have you got a smartphone or tablet that you don’t quite understand?
Older people often feel a bit lost in a digital world that doesn’t seem to reflect their values or experience. But there is a lot you can do that is genuinely useful — both for yourself and your family or community.
We are here to help you find your own way through the digital maze — and be confident that you are doing the right thing.
No smartphone, no tablet, no Internet?
Most older people are like you. Sometimes it’s a choice. Sometimes it’s a lack of opportunity. Very often, older people just don’t know how to get started.
We are here to help you over those obstacles.
And if you have decided that the Internet is not for you, we can help manage that choice too. After all, a phone is for making phone calls. A smartphone is also a camera — and has many other uses that are separate from the Internet.
We are here to help you with the life decisions that you make for yourself.
Our next step — 50+ Digital
We have a new program with two sessions each week at Finsbury Park Trust
- A Friday afternoon (2 to 5 pm) Digital Drop-in — starting 14 February,
- A new series of Learning Together workshops and short courses — starting in March, date not yet decided.
This new program will have a longterm base close to the Finsbury Park transport hub, and will be open to all older people.
50+ Digital will have its own website. Meanwhile, you can read more about it on this site — page 50+ Digital.
